When deciding on career paths, games can often be overshadowed by more traditional subjects. Yet it is one of the fastest growing industries, with the facility to offer inspiring, creative, diverse and rewarding careers.

At our UCLan | Women in Games Careers event you can:

  • DISCOVER how students can get involved in the industry
  • LISTEN to our panelists discuss ‘Reality v Expectation’
  • WATCH Media Molecule’s innovative ‘Dreams’ come to life
  • MEET the developers behind your favourite games
  • CREATE your games industry pathway!

Aimed at female and male students aged 13+ along with academic staff from secondary schools and colleges across the North West of England. We are reaching out to 80 students interested in learning about the wide career paths the games industry has to offer.

We also have a number of spaces allocated for guardians/parents wishing to accompany students.

Throughout October and early November, we are available to deliver at your school/college one-hour talks to students on the subject of games design. If you are interested in booking a talk, please contact us via email: Bev Bush ABBush@uclan.ac.uk; Rhoda Daly RDaly1@uclan.ac.uk
