New apprenticeship schemes would benefit Lancashire’s businesses and help to keep talent in the local area.

That is the view of entrepreneur Elizabeth Clark, co-founder and CEO of Ramsbottom-based advertising tech firm Dream Agility.

Clark is one of nine panellists confirmed to speak at BusinessCloud’s Going for Growth event near Preston next month, where several of Lancashire’s most successful businesses will be sharing their own stories of obtaining investment.

“We need to do something about transport and better higher level apprentices to keep our young people in Lancashire and stop them heading into Manchester away from the local employers,” Clark said.
