A special question & answer session is being held in Lancaster on Wednesday, the 18th of October from 6pm, about EU citizens’ rights to stay in the UK after Brexit.
It’s being hosted by the European Union Mobile Citizens group, which was set up to provide guidance for EU nationals after the referendum.
“The right to stay in the UK for EU citizens” Q&A will take place at Lancaster Town Hall.
A solicitor from Simpson Millar LLP will be on hand to answer questions about permanent residency and British citizenship, as well as outlining the options available to stay in the UK.
The event is being co-hosted with Lancaster City Council.
You can register your interest in the event on Facebook here, and keep up to date with further Q&A sessions here.
Councillor Oscar Thynne, who is helping to organise the event, said: “As such a diverse country, the result of the European Union Referendum has caused great uncertainty for a large number of our community. In collaboration with Migrants Rights Network, we are working hard to support the wider Lancaster community by providing this free Q&A session.”
